Aside from equity funding or debt financing, there are R&D and investment incentives, Federal and State based government grants that offer funding to businesses. As a Partner in EY’s global Government Investment & Incentives team and as part of the EY Private Leadership team, I help businesses of all sizes scale through one-to-one guidance, access to EY proprietary digital tools, networking, insight sharing and advisory services.

I am a registered R&D Tax Agent, Government Investment & Incentives specialist and sign off Partner and advisor for some of Australia’s largest companies. I lead Government Incentive services to a full-spectrum of clients; from listed companies, privately owned companies, as well as private equity and venture-backed portfolio companies and startups. Together with my talented, diverse team, we provide all size companies with personal, hands on, tech enabled support to identify, access, defend and make successful R&D incentive claims and to identify and access non dilutive Government grants across a range of programs and industries.

Currently serving as the EY Oceania Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ (EWW) Leader and as Regional Director of EY Entrepreneur of the Year™, both these unique programs celebrate, connect and support entrepreneurs as they unlock their ambitions. These flagship programs operate in more than 60 countries and territories, and 145 cities around the world.

I am passionate about helping people and companies achieve economic sustainability and growth, fund and celebrate the development, growth and commercialisation of innovation as they find problems to solve, use science and technology to solve them and grow into companies that serve global markets.

I regularly speak in public and private forums on the application of Government incentives, innovation policy, emerging technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, diversity and the regulatory landscape, on panels, with industry groups and with regulatory bodies.
